In addition to Seematz searchlights with the characteristic yellow color, Pesch GmbH also produces Seematz wipers. These are always produced to measure for the window and are therefore offered per project. The rectilinear wipers cover a maximum square area of the window. They move in an elongated housing of seawater resistant aluminum. All parts are made of stainless steel. End position switches, thermostatically controlled heating (100W) and the necessary pipes for the sprinkler system are standard

Linear wipers from Seematz are designed for the toughest conditions at sea. The built-in 100W rail heating makes the wipers also suitable for ships in the coldest areas on earth, down to -60 ° C. Each wiper comes standard with a wiper arm, wiper including rubber, 3m connecting cable, D-Sub cable, power supply and control panel. All Seematz wiper systems are also Lloyds certified.
The guides for the wiper arms are made of temperature and friction resistant plastic material. The guides are driven by a stainless steel chain, which is powered by two series-connected 24 VDC motors per wiper.
All windshield wiper control panels can be tailor-made for your ship /
bridge layout. The "Pacific" type also offers the possibility for a connection to the bridge-COM system, this means that all connected wipers are controllable via the main control and
surveillance panel on the bridge. This MODBUS connection is tailor-made for your vessel.
The motors of the Seematz windshield wipers are housed in a water-resistant housing, integrated into the housing mounted on the outside of the wheelhouse. This makes the sound pressure in the wheelhouse almost negligible.
